A co-educational HMC day and boarding school for pupils aged 11 - 18 years. We aim to provide an excellent all-round education so that every pupil can achieve his or her full potential academically and socially. We strive to develop the pupil as a whole person thereby helping to prepare them for their life at university and beyond. We are a family school with Christian values providing a caring and stimulating environment.
Excellent A-level results enable over 91% of pupils to accept a place at the university of their choice with 84% going to one of the UK's top tier universities.
There is continual investment in facilities. The boarding accommodation has been refurbished. The new Davey building with thirteen new science laboratories and a new refectory were completed in 2006. The new 6th Form Centre was opened in October 2008.
We offer a broad curriculum with over thirty five co-curricular activities so that pupils can develop their skills and interests. Founded in 1811, the school is situated in 80 acres in the beautiful Harestone Valley.
