Christ College is one of Britain's most ancient schools. It was founded by Royal Charter in 1541 by King Henry VIII. It occupies an enviable site on the outskirts of Brecon, a safe, small market town in a National Park. School buildings reflect the schools ancient past as well as its determination to provide the best modern facilities possible for its pupils. The Chapel and Dining Hall, both in daily use, date from the 13th Century when the site was occupied by a Dominican Priory
