Dauntsey's is a leading co-educational boarding and day school of some 780 pupils between the ages of 11-18. The School is set in an estate of 160 acres on the edge of Salisbury Plain.

The curriculum is broad and balanced and academic standards are high. In the last three years, A and B grades at A Level have been over 80% and the percentage of A* and A grades at GCSE, over 70%. Facilities are impressive and include a superb library and study centre, five-studio Art School, science block and recently refurbished and extended boarding and day house accommodation.

At Dauntsey's, pupils discover a breadth and depth of education that takes them beyond academic achievement; drama, music, art and sport all flourish at the School. Concerts are numerous – an average of two a week – and range from chamber music to rock extravaganzas. Drama is enthusiastically supported and several productions of varying styles are staged throughout the year providing many opportunities for front and backstage involvement.

Dauntsey's regularly produces first class sides in all sports and pupils maintain and sail the "Jolie Brise, a 56' gaff cutter that won the Millenium Tall Ships Race and three Fastnets. Clubs and societies provide enrichment to the main programmes and pupils can choose from over 70 ranging from: bee-keeping to basketball; fly fishing to fencing; dance to debating and sub-aqua to symphony orchestra.
