Founded in 1884, Ellesmere College is a 7 to 18 co-educational school based in rural North Shropshire. It has proved to be an extremely popular school in recent years and numbers have risen sharply, enabling over £6m to be spent on facilities since 2005.

Ellesmere offers day and weekly boarding and facilities within a five day teaching cycle, with sport and extra-curricular activities at the weekend. Although a Church of England foundation, the College welcomes pupils of all faiths and nationalities.
