Felsted's central educational philosophy is that the strengths and qualities from within are drawn out through challenge and adventurous pursuits. The school is focused upon academic achievement but also addresses the whole person, seeking to develop leadership, service, teamwork and spiritual growth. Felsted is delighted to European Member of the Round Square Organisation and hopes to be fast tracked to full World Membership in 2010. Felsted has a broad curriculum (offering both the A Levels and the International Baccalaureate Diploma) with an exceptional range of opportunities. There is a strong focus on leadership and service and Felsted is exceptionally strong in these areas. The school also offers excellence in sport, music and the arts. The international dimension to the school is a further unique aspect. The school currently has a range of international activities which includes hosting a Model United Nations Conference, links to international schools, expeditions to Namibia and Zululand, a drama tour to the USA, sports tours within Europe and wider afield, language exchanges and work experience opportunities.
