School Profile

We aim to provide a really caring and friendly environment based on Christian principles and values, one in which young people from the age of eleven to eighteen can aim high and seek to reach their true potential. We combine academic rigour with a real breadth of extra-curricular activities that develop many other talents belonging to our students. We try to get the balance right between developing individuals and creating a strong sense of community in which our students can learn to co-operate and serve.

The co-educational character of the school and the combination of boarding and day make for a vibrant and happy family school. The division of the senior school into Westwood (for Years 7 to 8), main school (for years 9 to 11) and the Dixon (for the sixth-form) means our boys and girls feel a real sense of progression as they move through the school. It also means that we can tailor-make each section to best suit their needs.
