With a tradition as the Grammar School in Blackburn dating back nearly 500 years, Queen Elizabeth's is a thriving, co-educational school offering the best in modern education and excellent pastoral care to boys and girls aged from 3 through to 18.

The school draws pupils from a radius of up to 20 miles from Blackburn and offers an extensive school bus service. In 2009, QEGS will celebrate the 500th anniversary of its founding.
