St Dunstan's College was originally founded in the 15th Century in the Parish of St Dunstan in the East, part of the Tower Ward in the City of London.
As early as 1446 King Henry VI declared the parish school to be one of the efficient grammar schools of the City. The College was re-founded in 1888 on a green field site in Catford in the Paris of Lewisham but still maintains strong links with the City of London and the Parish of St Dunstan in the East.
The College, which is a registered charity, became co-educational in the mid 1990s and exists to provide education for boys and girls in South East London.
